The basketball star, Caitlin Clark, is preparing for a return to action, but this time on the golf course.

After a season marked by injuries in the WNBA, Clark will participate in the pro-am of The Annika tournament, an LPGA Tour event.

I had an incredible time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game.

The pro-am, which will take place on November 12 at the Pelican Golf Club, is open to the public. Clark generated great anticipation last year, just after her first season in the WNBA, where she was named Rookie of the Year.

The Annika is the penultimate tournament on the LPGA schedule. Clark maintains a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor of the event.

The second season of Clark in the WNBA was affected by injuries, limiting her to only 13 games. She was ruled out for the rest of the season on September 4 due to a groin injury. Despite this, her team, the Indiana Fever, reached the playoffs, but was eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals.
