Steve Allan Wins at the Boeing Classic

The Australian golfer Steve Allan conquered the Boeing Classic on Sunday, securing his second victory in three appearances on the PGA Tour Champions and the third of the season. Allan finished his performance with an impressive birdie, achieving a 65 (-7) and surpassing Stewart Cink by one stroke.

The definition came on the 18th hole, a par 5 at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, where Allan holed a five-foot birdie putt. Cink, one stroke behind at the start of the final hole, failed to match the performance. His shot from the bunker landed on the edge of the green, settling for a par and a 70 in the round.

Allan, 51 years old, finished the tournament with a total of 201 strokes (-15). His previous wins this season include The Galleri Classic in March and the Dick’s Open last month.

Ernie Els and Darren Clarke shared third place with -13, both with rounds of 66. Alex Cejka finished one stroke behind, with a card of 67.

Fred Couples, the local favorite, tied for 47th place with +1, after a 75. Couples, 65 years old and a native of Seattle, added his seventh participation in the senior circuit of the season.
