Toto Wolff in Advanced Negotiations to Sell Part of his Stake in Mercedes F1

Sources close to the situation have revealed to Alofoke Deportes that Toto Wolff, a key figure in the Mercedes Formula 1 team, is in advanced talks to sell part of his 33% stake in the team. This operation could value the entity at approximately £4.6 billion (6 billion dollars). Wolff, who would continue to perform his dual roles as CEO and team principal, would be considering the sale of a “mid-single-digit stake” of his share package. According to reports, the stake for sale could be 5%. Sources with direct knowledge of the agreement indicate that negotiations are underway with George Kurtz, CEO of Crowdstrike. If it materializes, Mercedes’ total valuation would exceed the recent acquisition of a stake in the McLaren F1 team, which valued the latter at around 3.5 billion pounds sterling.
