The championship leader, Oscar Piastri, dominated both Friday practice sessions.
Oscar Piastri, at the wheel of his single-seater, led Friday’s practice session at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. His teammate, Lando Norris, placed second.
An incident involving Racing Bulls rookie Isack Hadjar forced the session to end early. Hadjar, fortunately unharmed, suffered a mishap at the Tamburello corner, with his car getting stuck in the gravel and unable to rejoin the practice.
Pierre Gasly, representing Alpine, achieved the third-best time in the session.
