Horner Reaffirms Commitment to Red Bull Amid Ferrari Rumors
Barcelona, Spain – Christian Horner has reiterated his “100 percent” commitment to Red Bull, clearing up any speculation about a possible move to Ferrari.According to reports from the German publication Bild, Ferrari president John Elkann reportedly contacted Horner to discuss the possibility of replacing Fred Vasseur.
The friendship between Elkann and Horner goes back several years.
On Friday, at a press conference at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, the Briton strongly denied the report.
Of course, it’s always flattering to be associated with other teams, but my commitment is 100 percent to Red Bull. It always has been and certainly will be in the long term.

Horner added: “There’s always a lot of speculation in this business. People coming here, going there or whatever. I think the people within the team know exactly what the situation is.”
Horner was accompanied by Alpine’s Flavio Briatore, who participated in the press conference.Horner joked: “My Italian is worse than Flavio’s English, so how would that work?”

However, after finishing second in last year’s championship, Vasseur’s Ferrari is under increasing pressure due to a disappointing form.
The preseason expectation surrounding Lewis Hamilton’s arrival has quickly given way to the grim reality that the team is far off McLaren’s pace.
Hamilton has not yet been on the podium, although he won the sprint race in China.
Charles Leclerc has achieved the only two podium finishes for Ferrari so far this year.
Vasseur has not yet spoken to the media to address the Bild report and respond to the accusation that Ferrari is seeking a change.
