Attention Formula 1 fans! The driver ratings for the highly anticipated F1 25 are now available, and as expected, controversy is brewing. The developer has released the driver ratings, and discussions among fans are guaranteed.
Max Verstappen leads the table
The current world champion, Max Verstappen, tops the list with an impressive overall rating (OVR) of 95. This decision, although predictable, is still a starting point for debate.
Each OVR is composed of four key secondary stats: Experience, Career Skill, Awareness, and Pace. Verstappen stands out with 87 in Experience, 96 in Career Skill, 85 in Awareness, and 96 in Pace.
The inclusion of Experience as an individual statistic is particularly relevant. This variable could explain why some young and promising drivers might seem undervalued in the game.
Young promises and experienced pilots
Drivers like Kimi Antonelli, Oliver Bearman, Isack Hadjar, and Gabriel Bortoleto have performed remarkably in their debut season. However, their low Experience score could limit their OVR.
Oscar Piastri, currently at the top of the world championship, also presents a lower OVR due to this rule, standing at 87, below more experienced drivers like Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.
