Wriddhiman Saha, R Ashwin, and Prithvi Shaw have been selected to represent India in the next Test in Adelaide. Umesh Yadav completes the trio of fast bowlers.
The Indian selection’s decision focused on several key unknowns: Shaw’s continuity, the inclusion of a spinner, and the choice of wicketkeeper.
Shaw, despite the pressure, will maintain his place as opener. While Shubman Gill performed better in the practice matches, the selection opted for continuity.With Ravindra Jadeja’s absence due to injury, Ashwin was the choice for the spinner position.
Regarding the wicketkeeper, India has opted for Saha instead of Pant.
