Frank “The Ghost” Martin Returns to the Ring Against Rances Barthelemy

Frank “The Ghost” Martin (18-1, 12 KOs) is preparing for his return to the ring after his defeat in June 2024 against Gervonta Davis. The match will be against the former two-division champion, Rances Barthelemy (30-3-1, 15 KOs). This 10-round super lightweight bout will be the main preliminary fight on the PBC on Prime Video card, preceding Sebastian Fundora’s WBC super welterweight title defense against Keith Thurman. The fight will take place on October 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

I’m excited to be back after some tried to belittle me for a defeat. I took it as a lesson learned and I’m back, mentally and physically, at the top of my game. Rances will have to deal with everything I’ve been through, and he’ll feel it in every punch. I’m back, angry and dangerous.

Frank Martin
Martin, 30 years old, had an impressive start to his professional career, winning 18 consecutive fights before being defeated by Davis in the eighth round in a fight for the WBA lightweight title. He will face Barthelemy, 39, who hasn’t fought since losing by unanimous decision to Jose Ramirez in April 2024. Barthelemy is a former IBF junior lightweight and lightweight champion, but has had little activity in the last three years, with a record of 1-2.

October 25th is the night I will remind everyone who Rances Barthelemy is. Frank Martin is a talented boxer, but I’ve been in deep waters before, and experience counts when the lights are brightest. I come with a new hunger, a sharper focus, and the fire of a man chasing another world title. The fans who tune in will see me determined to leave it all in the ring. I’m not here to survive; I’m here to dominate and make sure my name is back on everyone’s radar.
