The boxing world left us a weekend with little activity, but with interesting movements in the rankings by division.

Jack Catterall Shines in Welterweight Debut

Jack Catterall secured a technical decision victory in his welterweight debut against Harlem Eubank. A cut caused by a clash of heads stopped the fight prematurely. Catterall dominated the match in Manchester, England. Despite the victory, he failed to enter the top 10 of an increasingly competitive welterweight division. Catterall’s transition from 140 pounds opened a space for Dalton Smith to enter the rankings at number 10. On the same card, Joe Cordina returned to the ring, recovering from his TKO loss to Anthony Cacace with a unanimous decision victory over Jaret Quiroz at lightweight. On the other hand, in super middleweight, Sergiy Derevyanchenko returned to action after being stopped by Christian Mbilli, knocking out Jeremy Ramos in the sixth round in Nashville, Tennessee. Here are the rankings for each division.HEAVYWEIGHT (HEAVYWEIGHT – Unlimited)
