Bohachuk and Adams to rematch on Canelo vs. Crawford undercard
The anticipated fight between Serhii Bohachuk and Brandon Adams will have a second edition, this time as part of the exciting preliminary card of the fight between Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford, scheduled for September 13 at Allegiant Stadium. Dana White, CEO of UFC and Zuffa Boxing, revealed details about this match. The Bohachuk-Adams 2 fight will be fought over 10 rounds, with an agreed weight of 156 pounds, and will be added to five other preliminary fights that will be broadcast on YouTube.This is a rematch of a brutal fight between these two.

The first encounter between Bohachuk (25-2, 24 KOs) and Adams (25-4, 16 KOs) took place in a more modest setting, under the restrictions of the pandemic at the Municipal Boxing Gym Felix Pagan Pintor in Puerto Rico. Adams, who was at a disadvantage on the scorecards, achieved a spectacular comeback, finishing Bohachuk in the eighth round.
On this occasion, both boxers will face each other before a much larger audience at the Las Vegas Raiders stadium. After his defeat to Adams, Bohachuk has amassed a record of 7-1, with his only other loss by majority decision against Vergil Ortiz, whom he even knocked down twice in a very close fight last August. Adams, for his part, was inactive for three years after his victory over Bohachuk. In 2024, he has a record of 2-1 and is coming off a split decision loss against Andreas Katzourakis in November. In addition to Bohachuk vs. Adams, the YouTube prelims will feature 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Ivan Dychko (15-0, 14 KOs), who will face Jermaine Franklin in a 10-round heavyweight bout. Franklin (23-2, 15 KOs) is known for his durability and has gone the distance in his losses against Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte. Recently, Franklin was mentioned by 20-year-old rising heavyweight star Moses Itauma as a possible future opponent.
